The story unfolds with the abduction of a child. She is taken to a strange, harsh, cold land and  forced to serve her captor's. As time passes, she grows to become a strong, beautiful woman. However, her plight worsens when the youngest prince, the son of the ruler who killed her father, romantically pursues her. But, she has uncovered a secret, an ancient riddle, one that could free herself and all those that have been taken into bondage.
